National Coordination Committee for Democratic Change (NCC) (Arabic: هيئة التنسيق الوطنية لقوى التغيير الديمقراطي السورية‎) is a Syrian opposition bloc chaired by Hussein Abdel Azim[1] consisting of 13 left-leaning political parties and independent political activists including 3 Kurdish political parties and youth activists operating within Syria and abroad[2]. Coordination Committee, together with Syrian National Council are two main factions of Syrian opposition. The big difference between them is that the Coordination Committee believes that the solution is to convince the Syrian government of the need for change and dialogue with the opposition and the current crisis can be resolved through dialogue, in order to achieve "a safe and peaceful transition from a state of despotism to democracy".[3]
