Tydal consists of 1330 km² and is the largest community in the province of Sør-Trøndelag. The rivers

Tydal is halfway betweenRøros andTrondheim , with provincial route 705 as most important road.Værnes airport , close to Trondheim, is one hour of driving away. Easter the number of people in Tydal increase up to 5,000. Many people from Trondheim celebrate their holidays in the 1,400 cabins in the community of Tydal.
