Kazuyo Sejima

Kazuyo Sejima (born 1956, Ibaraki prefecture, Japan) is an architect, who with Ryue Nishizawa, founded the Tokyo based firm SANAA (Sejima + Nishizawa and Associates) in 1995. In 1987, Kazuyo Sejima founded Kazuyo and Associates , after training at Tokyo University and in the office of Toyo Ito.

Professorship

Sejima teaches as a Visiting Professor both at Tama Art University and Keio University in Tokyo and with Nishizawa, holds the Jean Labatut Professorship at the School of Architecture at Princeton University, USA, where she has served on the advisory council for several years.Fact|date=May 2007
