Bryansk Oblast ( _ru. Бря́нская о́бласть, "Bryanskaya oblast") is a federal subject of Russia (an oblast). Its administrative center is the city of Bryansk. Population: 1,378,941 (2002 Census); 1,474,785 (1989 Census).
