Pulloxhill

Pulloxhill

Pulloxhill is a small village in Bedfordshire, England with a population of approximately 475. It has a Church, a School and two public houses. The village shop and Post Office have closed, although the Chequers public House now runs a shop selling Bread, Papers, Milk etc. The village pond was filled in several years ago, due to a fire at the old bakery, and now forms part of the village green. A village news letter is published monthly called the PVN. A field in the village is used for a carboot sale most Sundays during the summer months, with quite a lot of people there creating a large build up of traffic. It is around a 25-30 minute drive from Bedford's town centre(without traffic), or 9 minutes from the edge of Luton.
