Liu Huan

Liu Huan (zh-tsp|t=劉歡|s=刘欢|p=Liú Huān; born August 26, 1963) is a famous male pop singer in China. His song "Asking Myself a Thousand Times for That" (千萬次地問) remained in the number one position for ten weeks on mainland China radio stations. On August 8, 2008, he performed the official theme song "You and Me" with British singer Sarah Brightman at 2008 Summer Olympics Opening Ceremony in Beijing, China.

Early life

In 1985, Liu graduated from the University of International Relations in Beijing, majoring in French language. Following that, he was sent to the Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region; his time there had a definite influence on his music.
