Ajaccio Cathedral

Ajaccio Cathedral ("Cathédrale Notre-Dame-de-l'Assomption d'Ajaccio") is a Catholic cathedral located in Ajaccio, Corsica. It is the seat of the Bishop of Ajaccio.

The cathedral was built from 1577 to 1593. This is where Napoleon I was baptised on 21 July 1771 [Ajaccio Officiel website: [http://www.ajaccio.fr/Monuments-et-architectures_a11.html Monuments et architectures] fr icon] .
